EstiPlus was initiated in 2017 & has come a long way from its beginnings with constant updates by giving way to the timely requirements. EstiPlus goes to its origin when the founder of this innovative software Darius De Saa first got the idea of creating a common platform for all the materials in BOQ preparation. With the help of his daughter Taniya De Saa, son-in-law Mahesh Gunasekara and their team they created EstiPlus, turning his inspiration into to a successful software. We now serve customers all over in Sri Lanka, and are thrilled to be a part of the IT industry. As an individual that has been engaged in the construction industry since 1994, I have faced many instances where the inaccuracy of the estimate or the tender documents being the cause of error in a project which leads to major complications. In the duration I served as the president of the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) of Anuradhapura branch, I first took initiatives to prevent such error in the tender documents by discussing with the proper authorities with regards to the matter. Owing to government regulation & policies the BOQ/estimate preparation process has not been centralized in Sri Lanka.
The knowledge I received throughout the years as a businessman in hydraulic mechanisms, heavy machinery, electronics and auto mobile spare part manufacturing, was put in to designing this software which is applicable to any field that requires an estimate. With the information gathered from officials who are in the estimate preparation process, EstiPlus has been updated to meet the requirements of current procedures and have implemented systematic ways to prevent any short-comings of an estimate. I believe with product Sri Lankan will be able to move in a much progressed speed with more accuracy and efficiency in BOQ/estimate/tender documents in the circulation.
